Rich-Text For All!
Fresh off the heels of our mobile apps announcement, we’re adding a feature that our free users will be happy about: free rich-text formatting!
It’s hard to believe that we didn’t have text formatting in the past (we kind of liked the forced simplicity), but we’ve decided to add it to the pad so that more people can use and enjoy Penzu.
So now you can bold, underling, italicize, change fonts (we have 15 free fonts and 20 Pro ones), change size and color, align, indent, strikethrough, highlight, bullet, add a numbered list, spell check, insert date/time, hyperlink, and remove formatting (great for converting pasted text). Awesome right?
We don’t support rich-text on our native mobile apps, but our mobile web app has a View Mode which preserves formatting, but for viewing only. We hope to support rich-text across the board down the road.
We’re really excited to be able to add such a widely available feature. Pro users recently got more fonts—and they’re gorgeous! Read more here.
